Sunday clothes

We found this new suit for Baby L at a consignment sale.  What a handsome little guy!

My boys in their suits!

Here's the cutest boy with his mommy!
L doesn't look too thrilled to get a kiss from me but secretly he loves it when I kiss him.

Halloween Fun

The Saturday before Halloween the ward held the annual Fall Festival and Trunk-r-Treat.  SM was over the games that the YW and YM  were helping run.  This is the board that Jeremy and I made.  He also made a couple corn hole games, a ring toss, a cake walk game and pumpkin bowling.

L went to the event as Tigger.  He was so cute.  He loved the outfit.  We found it at a consignment sale a month or so ago.  I thought it was pretty big and would be big for him.  But he grew a lot in that month because the Tigger costume fit him perfectly and if he had to wait a couple more weeks I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have fit him.

L is growing so much and from this picture you can see that his hair is also growing like crazy.  This kid is so awesome but is growing too quickly for me.

Yep, he still likes to eat leaves!

Yep, those are my boys!  Love them tons!

I love that little Tigger!

L loving a little Japanese Maple leaves!  This tree is so awesome and looks amazing in our front yard.

And one of my favorite photos!

Charleston, South Carolina

My brother and his family recently relocated from Everett, Washington to Charleston, South Carolina.  We went took a car trip to visit them and spend General Conference weekend with them.  L enjoyed spending time with his cousins, especially this little girl.  She was so sweet and gave him space when he needed it.

This was the first time L ever played with a baby doll.  He is not interested in it as a baby but he did want to chew on that tag on the leg of the baby.  He is all boy!

L's other cousin was very content to build towers...look at that cute girl!

We went for a walk before conference...we were looking at the beautiful houses in the neighborhood.

We also found an alligator in a pond on the golf course.  This was my first live alligator in my life, but I did eat alligator year ago in Austin, Texas but of course it was dead and I didn't prepare the alligator.

I found a new toy that L really liked...plastic food.  Could it be because he is also teething?  Yes, he loved chewing on all the plastic food he could get his hands on.

We decided to play a game between conference sessions.  My sister-in-law was a good sport during this time because she played even with a migraine headache.

And that was our trip to S.C.  We will be doing it again and I'm so excited to have family near us!

My baby eats leaves and he's got a tooth!

I decided to take a few fall photos of the baby in our front yard.  And I just have to share a few fun ones.

"And here you see a leaf..."

"...and then it's gone..."

Love those blue eyes!

And here's the first tooth peaking out of the bottom jaw.  Eight months old and got a tooth!  I got my first tooth around nine months but my four siblings didn't get their's until they were around a year old.  SM and all his siblings also got their first tooth around a year old so I was sure L would wait until he was a year.  Nope!  Decided to be different and got it at eight months.  In fact, it was Sunday at church when someone said to me that they saw his first tooth.  I dismissed them and said that he wasn't teething.  Went home that afternoon and saw the tooth, it had just broken through the surface of his gum.  Yikes!

Fun with Dad

SM had a faculty kickball game and afterwards another law professor took these photos of SM and L.

Love my boys!

When there is silence, there is trouble

So, I'm just throwing this photo into this blog post because it is so cute!  I love how Kung Fu Panda and Baby L are enjoying the bottle together and how the colors go together.  Plus, this photo shows off the hair that L is growing.  What an adorable baby!

Most of the time L fusses when I put him in the exersaucer.  I was really excited when I put him in it recently and he was quiet and playing, until I realized he was too quiet.  In this photo you can see the pile of leaves on the ground.  L was unable to get full leaves but he did give my plant quite the haircut on one side. Little Turkey!

"Yep, Mama caught you my little one!"

A couple weeks later, L was playing in the library when I noticed that it was too quiet, and then I heard a thud and shout.  L had army crawled over to the fire place and pulled at a branch of a plant and pulled the whole plant onto himself.

Yep, he's keeping his mouth shut because he already has a leaf in there.  He wasn't hurt, but not excited that he had been found out.

Right below his ear he had a pile of dirt, which you can kind of see in this photo.  He also had dirt in his hair and down his shirt.  What a fun experience...and the plants I keep around here are very hearty so I'm not worried about them.  Love this little one!

Front yard fun!

We have a very large yard and so when I grabbed the camera, the baby looked so far away.  He wasn't too sure he liked me walking away from him but look at that cutie enjoying being outside and chewing on leaves and sticks.

The weather was hot and humid and after just ten minutes outside, we were both sweating and hot.  We hope that the fall comes soon so that we can enjoy more outside time.  The mosquitoes have stopped being so aggressive and haven't chased us into the house.  We love our awesome front yard!
