Austin Texas has some amazing burgers!

SM and Sammie went on a long bike ride Saturday morning.  Unfortunately there was a flat tire involved, but Melissa and I picked the guys up and went to a place called Andice for the biggest burgers I've ever eaten.

And beautiful Melissa and her pulled pork sandwich, also one of the biggest sandwiches I've ever seen.

B has a very yummy grilled cheese sandwich.  I loved visiting B in Austin and listening to all his words.  This kid is smart, oh, and cute.  He also loves balls and animals and food.

See that burger, it's almost as big as my head.  I almost ate the whole thing and I ate some of the fries that came with the meal.  It's a good thing I ran with Melissa that morning, so that I had extra calories to eat.  I really like this picture of me...I'm cute.

Do you like the motor oil buckets?  Because it was windy and apparently is often windy, they keep the paper towels, ketchup, salt and pepper in these buckets.  Check out those fries!  Yum!

After that yummy lunch we walked across the street to see the cows  in the trailer.  B was really excited to "moo" at the cows.  I want to share the story I heard about how Andice got it's name.  (We ate at the Andice General Store).  Apparently the general store many, many years ago had a sign outside the store that said "Beer and Ice" and something happened to the sign so the it only said "and Ice" and soon everyone called the place Andice and it stuck.  Fun story huh?!

Birthday Lunch

This year for my birthday I had a group of friends celebrate with me at Cafe Rio.  Cafe Rio is a newer restaurant in this area but I've been there two other times and each time I've gone I've run into other Mormons.  And I did see the missionaries there this time, along with my friends.

My friend Shelyn took the photo.  Thanks to all the ladies that came to lunch.  Cathi was planning on coming but a call from her elementary school that she needed to pick up her youngest daughter and take her to the dentist.

Not exactly the clearest of photos but one of my favorites!  Look at that cute smile!

My Birthday

One of my bestest friends in the world made me a small heart cake for my birthday this year.  She even put a birthday candle in it.  Thank you Shelyn!

I got to share it with SM.  I'm not a fan of cake but small personal cakes like this are an exception.  And blowing out a candle is fun!  Yea for birthdays!  For my birthday this year, I set a running goal to run 36 miles in six days.  The first day I ran eight miles and then for four days I ran six miles and on the final day I ran the final four.  What a great way to celebrate my birthday!

80's Valentine Dance

Last weekend our ward held an awesome Valentine's Dance.  The dance was also a fundraiser to raise money for the Young Women's for girls camp.  The young women decorated for the dance.  They did photos for 10 dollars and also babysat there at the church.  Take a look at our 80's outfits.  I pegged my pants, wore the demin and even tied my red T-shirt.  Check out some of the other outfits from the dance!

Check out a member of our stake presidency and his wife.

Look at those cute girls!

Here's a cute couple from the ward.  When her kids told her to dress-up like she did in the 80's she said that she was pregnant during the 80's and she didn't want to wear a huge tent of a dress to the dance.  She did have eight kids during the 80's and 90's.   Check out her husband's mohawk.  That's a great couple!

Here's Adam and Eve!  I love their matching outfit, even though it was not exactly in style in the 80's.
SM and I had a great time at the dance.  I'm frustrated that I didn't get a photo of us together.  But we did purchase a photo from the dance and maybe I'll get it on this post someday.  SM danced the whole night.  He loves 80's music and only stopped to drink more water.
