Last week I went to Bethany Beach with some friends. We started the week with only the wives and kids. We went shopping, played at the beach and stayed at the house in our pajamas for half of the day. By the middle of the week the husbands had joined us...except for SM. He had to stay home because his work needed him.
This was the first time I actually have been to the beach and got into the water (not counting the disastrous event when I was in 11th grade and went on a choir trip to California). I had so much fun. And now I'm not afraid of the water...and am aware that if you keep your mouth open, salt water will fill it. And that saltwater doesn't taste very good. And that saltwater can clean out sinuses.
I loved my time at the beach. On Friday the waves were bigger and stronger than the previous days. I was up for the challenge, though, and played in them for a couple hours. They pushed me into the sand over and over. My head filled with saltwater...as well as my stomach...but I did have fun. The not so fun part is that I got whiplash from the rough waves and have been walking around with my neck incredibly stiff. Oh well...was it worth it? I think so...
This picture is fun...I feel like I'm from the fourties...getting my picture taken.

I just had to throw this picture in...isn't it the cutest. We had a total of four little girls with us. Two toddlers and then these two...and we had a great time with them.

Looks like so much fun! Although, now I'm curious about what event happened in California with the ocean...you may need to share that. And, congrats on the tomato! It's beautiful!
How fun! You look great - love the "forties" picture. I LOVE the beach. We haven't been for ages. Thanks for sharing!
Hi! You don't know me, but I know SM from our days in the Langley Ward together. We were good buds. Please tell him that Heidi says hi! I stumbled on your blog from the Gibbs'.
