I haven't yet pulled out my watercolors since the move, but I have pulled out my sewing machine and have been working on burp clothes and receiving blankets. It's the perfect thing to do with my hands in the evening hours while watching my favorite shows. Here's set of burp clothes that I just finished. I think they are so cute and I'm sure I'll have a hard time giving them away...but since I don't have little ones...what else will I do with them? Unless I save them for that one day, in the future, when I have my own kiddos. Unfortunately, I've done that with a few quilts, recieving blankets and burp clothes already...oh well.

I love these! Whenever I received the handstitched burp cloths, it was the best. I did have a problem though when I washed one - the outer edge fell apart :( I was so sad. I guess if I knew how to do it, I could have fixed it but I didn't.
Heather...you're amazing with all your hobbies and talents. I'm impressed with all the canning you've done and drying of fruits etc. I am trying to improve my bread making skills that you taught me. :) We miss you two!! The ward isn't the same without you! You look great! Hope life in Utah is treating you good.
