I am a creative person who has more projects than time to do them. I am married to a real gentleman. He always opens all doors for me and supports me in all I choose to do. I currently am not working though I've worked in the public schools as a speech therapist for five years. I love to read, paint, sew, cook and scrapbook. I'd like to learn how to digitally scrapbook but am not ambitious enough to figure it out on my own. I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and love to share my beliefs with anyone. Thanks for getting to know a little bit about ME!!
During the months of January, February and March, my darling husband and I celebrate both of our birthdays and our anniversary. It actually keeps things exciting as we finish with Christmas and then begin with the birthdays and anniversary. Above is a photo of SM opening one of his birthday presents.
And here are some family that gathered to celebrate his birthday. Notice my nephew wearing his Aggie clothing. We got that for him at Christmas, knowing it would take him a few months to actually grow into it. Well, this kid knows how to grow...it's fitting him a lot faster than anyone anticipated.
And here I am showing one of my birthday gifts. SM's brother is also sharing his gift with the camera. February is a busy month for birthdays on my hubby's side of the family. We have seven birthdays, and six of them are adult members of the family.
The blue table must have been one of the birthday tables since the four of us all had our birthdays that month. You'll notice scarves being worn by all the females...we must have all had the same idea for birthday gifts.
This is the scarf my mother-in-law made for me...orange...one of my favorite colors.
Here are the flowers that my husband surprised me with for our anniversary!! Aren't they beautiful? I love the combination of stargazer lilies and roses.
We decided to go to a bed and breakfast for our anniversary this year. The bed and breakfast had a castle theme and we had the Garden Suite. The walls were painted like we were in a walled-in garden.
Breakfast the next morning consisted of orange juice, fruit and lemon bread, followed by french toast, bacon and quiche. We felt like royalty.
The front door was very large and cool. I had to get a picture of it and luckily I found a handsome model that was willing to pose next to the door.
The outside of the bed and breakfast really did look like a castle. And luckily this place wasn't too far away from home so we could get back to our lives when the fairy tale ended. What a wonderful anniversary!!! Thanks goes to my awesome husband.
Wow, that is a lot of celebrating for a short amount of time. I love the castle-themed bed and breakfast. Jeff and I need to stay somewhere romantical one of these days.
