Egg Rolls
My SIL taught me how to make and cook egg rolls last Thursday. Oh, it was so good. (As I sit here writing...I realize that my life really seems to rotate around food...is that a good thing? I mean one must eat to survive but does anyone else get joy out of learning a new recipe? trying new food? eating out? eating in?...probably too many of us!!)
I was surprised at how easy the recipe was and wrapping them was fun. Now, my SIL manned the hot oil so I'll have a new experience when I try doing it by myself for the first time, but I think I can do it.
Look past my SIL...see all those egg rolls on the cookie sheet? We had so much fun making the egg rolls...I really would have eaten all of them if I could fit them in my tummy, but my tummy betrayed me and I was forced to stop eating way too soon. Oh well, isn't it better to not over due it in one sitting?

My life revolves around food too. It's just so yummy! I love trying new recipes too. I study cookbooks in my free time.
I love egg rolls! But, I haven't made them for so long because it makes so many. We need to have company over to share them with, I guess.
Thanks for giving me your blog address. It looks like you guys had a fun trip back west. Wow, you've got a lot of work to do in your moms garden. I wish I had all that fresh produce, they look divine.
Love your new hair cut. Very cute. I haven't seen it straight, but I like how you have it styled. I'm glad we can keep in touch. It's fun to see Mt. Timp pictures and remember Utah, what a fun place to be!
Yummy those look fantastic! While my life revolves around food too, I don't take joy in it's preperation like you do. Oh how I wish I could. Simply said, I just don't like it! You'll have to come out here a visit and do that whole "fantastic cook" thing of yours.
