Memorial Day fun - Lehi

After visiting my grandparents graves in Provo, we went to Lehi and visited my Grandpa Hardy's grave in the Lehi Cemetery.  My grandfather died last August and I was living in another state and was unable to go to his funeral.  I was very excited to go see his grave for the first time since he passed.

Here is a photo of my grandmother, mom, and two of my siblings.  I have one other brother that was also there but for some reason he wasn't in the photo.  My guess is that he was chasing after his little boy, trying to keep him off the grave markers.  I was so glad that my grandmother was able to come with us to visit her husband's grave.

I really love this photo of my brother's family.  The sun finally came out and we took advantage of the moment and took photos.  It was a bit windy and so the weather was still cold, but it's just one of those things you deal with during the Spring.

As I mentioned previously, it was windy...notice, the crazy hair.  But I also like this photo of my husband and myself.

And here is my other brother's family!  Cute, cute!

My sister and her husband were posing for their photo when my nephew decided to run into their photo.  It really shows off his personality.  Fun photo!

Here's my grandmother at the grave of her husband.

This was a grave near my grandpa's grave.  These two little munchkins (my nephews) were drawn to the wind toys.  They loved watching them spin in the wind and then wanted to make them spin themselves.  They are too young to realize why we honor our dead but as they grow up, I hope they enjoy the family tradition of visiting graves.

After we finished visiting the graves, we came home and had a BBQ at my parent's house.  I had to add this photo that I took off their back patio.  Don't my parent's live in paradise?  I loved growing up in this area.  It is so beautiful...but it is a lot of work to keep up.  But love makes it happen.

This is from a side flower garden at my parent's house.  The tulips are almost all gone but I had to share this photo.
